Referral Method: A referral must be made through the student’s public (K-12) school.
Description: The Center maintains a lending library including:(toys, AAC devices, alternative computer access and low tech resources. see website for complete list. The Center provides assistive technology and collaborative planning for children with disabilities. It offers classes statewide on assistive technology that are open to the public on a space available basis.
Area served: Children up to age 21 in any public school district in Washington state
Eligibility:
Any student with a current IEP or Section 504 plan receiving services from a Washington state public school district.

Description: Through lectures, demonstrations of assistive technology devices, case studies, and hands-on experience with assistive technology, the focus will be on an interdisciplinary approach to the selection, implementation and use of technology to meet the educational, vocational, transitional and independent living needs of individuals (adults and children) with disabilities.

Eligibility:Individuals and teams who serve people with disabilities of all ages; employers, ADA Administrators and others involved with compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act; and individuals with disabilities, their family members and advocates.
